Finish 2026 strong with intelligent Live IAR CE
November 4: Tyler Gellasch on the changing regulatory landscape
Tyler’s update addresses changes affecting investment fiduciaries as the 2027 regulatory landscape takes shape. His course connects disclosure, oversight, custody, conflicts and investor remedies to the practical responsibility of evaluating recommendations. The appeal is direct: use the session to sharpen the questions you ask when investor protections or the information supporting advice are changing.
For investment fiduciaries, live IAR CE offers an opportunity to connect regulatory developments with daily professional judgment. The current page lists NASAA as Submitted; an approved-provider designation is not approval of every course. Review the regulatory update’s current status before choosing it for IAR CE.
November 10: Craig Turner returns
Craig is scheduled for November 10 at 4 p.m. Eastern. His final subject is being confirmed, so this roundup reserves the date without presenting an unfinished title as settled. Advisers who value Craig’s practical teaching can put the date on their planning calendar and return for the final description and enrollment route.
Look for a clear description of what you will learn before selecting a class. We will add Craig’s specific learning benefits, end time and course requirements when those details are finalized.
November 17: Fritz Meyer’s monthly economic update
Fritz’s November presentation continues A4A’s strategic-investing series. This live IAR CE session provides a timely occasion to examine the economic and market picture, revisit assumptions and prepare for client conversations. It is particularly useful to make room for analysis while the year’s final investment decisions are still ahead.
The November course page explains the attendance route through the Instructions and Webinar lessons. It currently states that CE/CPE approval is not yet confirmed and credit is not guaranteed. Choose live education for its substance while checking separately whether the exact course meets your outstanding requirement.
November 18: two hours with Mat Sorensen on self-directed IRAs
The SDIRA event is planned as one two-hour live course, from 5–7 p.m. Eastern. Its content will combine an updated overview of the basics with current developments, trends and strategies. That combination offers room to revisit the foundation and then consider what is changing.
Two separate self-study courses are planned after the live presentation. If you prefer attending live, keep November 18 on your calendar; the later offerings will have their own course requirements and credit details. The live event’s two-hour duration does not establish a particular number or category of approved credits; those details will be posted when verified.
December 8: another opportunity to learn with Fritz Meyer
Fritz returns December 8 from 4–5 p.m. Eastern. Having both November and December dates on the calendar lets advisers make continuing education part of their normal investment-review routine. The December course page is still being prepared; check the catalog for enrollment availability and confirmed credit status.
How to Choose Live IAR CE Classes for Your Needs
If you are comparing the best live IAR CE classes 2026 has to offer, or searching for the best live classes to earn IAR CE before the end of 2026, begin with your own transcript. Choosing a NASAA-approved IAR CE provider is one part of that decision. Match approved course categories to the credits you still need, then choose instructors and subjects that strengthen your work. A broad lineup is valuable because regulatory judgment, investment analysis and specialized retirement-account knowledge serve different needs.
- Choose a topic you can apply in client conversations or professional decisions.
- Verify the exact course’s current approval and category.
- Confirm the date, time and attendance requirements before enrolling.
- Leave time for year-end IAR CE reporting and complete any remaining approved self-study work.
Your live IAR CE plan should combine educational value with accurate recordkeeping. A date on the calendar is a starting point; a verified completion record is what you should retain afterward.
2026 IAR CE deadline: finish early and understand the cutoff
The annual requirement is 12 credits, including six in Ethics and Professional Responsibility and six in Products and Practice. Plan to finish your 2026 requirement by year-end, and allow time for provider reporting and processing. See NASAA’s IAR CE FAQs.
Important 2026 distinction: NASAA identifies December 27 at 4 p.m. Eastern as the renewal-processing cutoff. Rosters continue to be accepted afterward. Advisers already deficient for both 2025 and 2026 can fail to renew at that cutoff; later CE does not automatically restore registration. See the 2026 year-end memo.
FINRA’s broader registration API schedule pauses submission processing December 27 at 6 p.m. Eastern through January 2, 2027, at 8 a.m. Eastern. That schedule should not be substituted for the separate IAR CE rule above. A4A’s final 2026 reporting schedule will be posted when confirmed. Do not assume every December completion must wait until January or that a certificate guarantees timely renewal. See FINRA’s processing schedule.
Plan Your Remaining 2026 IAR CE
